What an SUV is to a sedan, the Daytripper is to the kayak. A wide open cockpit makes it 1/2 canoe, 1/2 kayak, allows for easy entry into and exit from the boat, and provides ample room for your fishing or camping gear, your 4-legged friend, a kid, or all of the above! Very stable and straight tracking, the Daytripper in either 10-foot or 12-foot length, is an ideal first kayak, and has also become quite popular (and a tournament winner!) among the inland fishing crowd.
The unique ”day tray”, which is a built-in sliding tackle box with two beverage holders, adjustable footbraces, and a dry storage bag are all standard on both the Elite and standard versions. The Elite also features an adjustable and removable camp chair that is quite likely the most comfortable kayak seat on the market. A kid’s seat is one of a variety of options available for both models.
Also available is the Minitripper, a scaled-down version of the Daytripper, specially designed so youngsters can participate in all the fun!
